With his classic movie star good looks and confident smile, Dean Williams is Oseberg’s chief consultant in demand. And by that we mean that no challenge is too big (or too small) for him and his team to solve.
Dean leads Oseberg’s Consulting practice (aka OseCon) where he leverages Oseberg’s cutting edge technology to solve our client’s pressing business problems, deliver critical insights, and unlock opportunities trapped in public information vaults.
No stranger to the oil and gas business, Dean is an industry veteran with over 25 years of Upstream and Information Services experience, running the gamut from reservoir engineering, data management, industry relations, product management, and business development.
Dean thinks of business as the union of curiosity and physics. Curiosity is the exploration of the ‘why’ and ‘what if’, while physics involves understanding the cause and effect of actions (the ‘how’).
When he’s not wowing clients with the possibilities of the ‘what ifs’ of the previously impossible or unsolvable, you’ll find Dean jetting off to adventures around the world. Dean has currently developed a strong love of Italian olive oil, to which he has gladly applied both his natural curiosity and understanding of physics (just how many olive trees does it take to fill one bottle of olive oil)?
